The London-based teacher recruitment agency SeekTeachers is partnering with the Abu Dhabi Education Council’s Licensed Teacher Program to help match educators with the emirate’s learning needs; SeekTeachers has helped place thousands of teachers in jobs around the world, and it will now start performing that service for the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC).

As part of the partnership, SeekTeachers will be ADEC’s lead recruitment partner and will be tasked with screening and selecting candidates to work in Abu Dhabi.

The move comes as there is a growing trend for teachers to seek work outside of their home nations. The United Arab Emirates is popular destination for those educators, as the nation has a high demand for expat teachers. In return, foreign teachers enjoy tax-free salaries.

The partnership with SeekTeachers is part of a push from Abu Dhabi to reform its education structures in order to provide higher-quality learning facilities to more people.

To that end, SeekTeachers is currently accepting resumes from qualified, licensed teachers from around the world for two-year teaching contracts. Applicants must be licensed to teach, and ideal candidates have at least two years of experience.

Aside from those basic requirements, SeekTeachers is also looking for candidates with an interest in learning new cultures that would seek to modernize the emirate’s education structure, not westernize it.
