Construction risk management firm Hill International named Simon Longley, FRICS, FCIArb, FCInstCES, senior vice president of Hill's Construction Claims Group Wednesday.
"Simon is a renowned disputes expert with extensive experience on international megaprojects," David Merritt, senior vice president and regional managing director for Hill's Construction Claims Group, said.
Longley will work from Hill's Dubai, United Arab Emirates, office and brings with him more than three decades of experience in construction consulting. He has worked as regional managing director with Project Advisors International, regional director of contract, commercial and expert services for High-Point Rendel Consulting, senior claims consultant with Schofield Lothian Consulting and commercial director for Balfour Beatty Rail First.
Longley holds a Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying from Newcastle Polytechnic and an LL.B. from the University of London. Presently, he is working toward his LL.M. in professional legal skills from the City Law School in London.
