IT solutions provider, Bahrain-based Hilal Computers and American technology firm Oracle hosted seminar
Bahrain Technology Day Monday.
At the event, more than 50 IT professionals learned about Oracle's newest products and advances, including Oracle Database 12c. This new, cloud-based technology allows customers to more efficiently use their IT resources. It also includes in-memory data-processing capabilities.
“As an Oracle business partner, Hilal Computers has a remit to promote the wider use of Oracle’s Integrated Cloud Applications and Platform Services which are continuously helping businesses to reach new levels," Geoffery Milne, Hilal Computers general manager, said. “The seminar seeks to inform experts managing IT systems in large enterprises of the inherent offerings and benefits of using the Oracle Cloud and Oracle Database 12c, helping organisations drive innovation and business transformation by increasing business agility, lowering costs, and reducing IT complexity.”
Hilal and Oracle became partners in 2009.
