Zenlayer expands with Equinix into Dubai, UAE, Australia

Zenlayer, a global network and service provider of SDN technology, is expanding its co-location and hosting capabilities with Equinix into Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Melbourne, Australia.

Zenlayer's data center portfolio includes more than 50 data centers across six continents. Zenlayer is also leveraging Equinix's global interconnection and data center platform — Platform Equinix — for global scale to reach additional markets around the world.

The Equinix Dubai DX1 IBX is the first world class, network-neutral aggregation point in the MENA region. It offers diverse regional and international interconnectivity in an offshore zone.

Equinix's Melbourne ME1 IBX is the first full-service multinational data center for data exchange in its market. All of Equinix's global data centers offered reliable uptime ratings of 99.9999 percent in 2015.

"We're excited to help Zenlayer expand into Melbourne, furthering the success of its business globally," Jeremy Deutsch, managing director of Equinix Australia, said. "Together with our Dubai IBX, ME1 in Victoria is a truly state of the art data center with a growing and robust ecosystem of clouds, networks and other providers, and we're pleased to welcome Zenlayer into that thriving environment."

Zenlayer will attend Cloud Expo New York from June 7-9.
