Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) invites expressions of interest regarding potential development of two solar photovoltaic independent power plants, to be located in Al-Jouf and Rafha.
SEC will select a developer or developer consortium to develop and operate the sites, which will each have up to 50 megawatts of photovoltaic capacity. The new power plants will support existing conventional power plants in their respective locations.
