Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has announced the selection of
NCR Corporation, a world leader in omni-channel solutions, to replace 300 of
its ATMs and upgrade the underlying infrastructure to NCR’s APTRA Connections
and Branch effectiveness modeling software solution.
“At KFH, we are committed to ensure that all our touch
points, i.e. ATM’s, kiosk, online, call center or the branch have consistent and
exceptional experience at all times,” the company said in a statement.
The agreement calls for NCR to provide a multitude of ATM
technologies. This will include upgrading KFH’s ATMs so that they have scalable
check deposit and cash dispenser facilities. The upgrade, along with the
addition of a suite of e-marketing solutions powered by NCR APTRA Connections,
will allow for the introduction of a modern banking environment.
“This win is of immense significance to NCR as it reiterates
the trust that KFH has in NCR technology and solutions, especially when the
bank is moving towards upgrading its customer touch points to meet expectation
of today’s modern customers,” Wael Elaawar, NCR managing director for financial service in the Middle East, said. “By implementing this complete solution
from NCR, KFH is aiming at enhancing its productivity, expanding its market
share, increasing customer retention, improving customer satisfaction and
reducing operational costs.”
