Aster DM Healthcare, a Gulf-based company, has announced plans
to launch a quaternary health care facility, Aster CMI Hospital, in Hebbal,
Bengalaru.
The patient-centric hospital will have 509 beds.
"With an additional investment of around Rs.230 crores
(AED 126 Million) in the existing hospital, Aster CMI Hospital is all set to
create a benchmark in medical care not only in Bengaluru but across India,” Dr.
Azad Moopen, founder, chairman and managing director of Aster DM Healthcare, said.
Moopen said that the serene environment of the facility
gives patients comfort. He noted that the hospital’s location provides
connectivity throughout Bangalore and nearby regions.
“With our strong network in eight foreign countries , we are
confident to see great potential for Medical Value Travel,” Moopen said.
Dr. Nitish Shetty, CEO of Aster CMI Hospital, mentioned that
the hospital will not lose sight of the human aspect of the health care
industry.
“We have developed a remarkable team of clinicians and
surgeons supported by an able paramedical team of qualified technicians to
offer specializations in various faculties,” Shetty said.
