Economic relationships between businessmen in Qatar and
those from the EU countries was the focus of a meeting recently held at Qatar
Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) headquarters.
First Secretary for
Trade and Economic Affairs of the Delegation of the European Union in GCC Lucie Berger and QCCI Vice Chairman Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Tawar met to
discuss bringing together businessmen from the two sides.
It was decided that the two groups could hold a secondary
meeting at the end of November while attending a workshop being hosted by Qatar where important
challenges facing trade and investment industries will be discussed by European
and GCC businessmen.
The two leaders highlighted
the strong bond between Qatar and countries of the EU as well as Qatar’s flourishing
economy.
