The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) is preparing to host an open house on its premises in Juffair to showcase the benefits and
career options of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification.
The
event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28.
Prospective students can learn about how to enter the
prestigious and globally recognized CFA qualification. Experts from the
industry will be on hand to tell students about the registration process, as well.
“The BIBF has exceeded the global
average pass rate in 2016 (43 percent), and we are delighted to continue this success
with the launch of part two of the CFA qualification this November,” BIBF Head of Banking and Accounting Deen Jayah said.
The CFA qualification consists of three levels: one for
basic knowledge of the 10 areas of the field and simple analysis using
investment tools, one for complex analysis that stresses valuing assets, and
one for combining all methods and conceptions to effectively manage portfolios.
BIBF will host level I and level II courses this
November.
