Bahrain Institute of Public Administration assesses its counseling services

Raed Mohammed Bin Shams, director-general of the Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) recently offered an assessment on the organization’s counseling services.

Shams said the assessment and counseling services that BIPA provides focus on helping government leaders, individuals and organizations reach their potential. Ultimately, this helps the kingdom grow its sustainable development processes.
 
"The assessment and counseling services stem from the importance of creating integration in the government performance development process through the development of government leaders and individuals,” Shams said. "The assessment services provided by BIPA are founded on innovative methods within international scientific methodologies based on measuring personal skills and identification of points of strength and areas of improvement with reputable firms having proven experience in this accurate specialization.”
 
Ghada Shana'ah, executive director of BIPA's assessment department, added his take on the assessment and counseling services. He said these services have four pillars – a psychometric assessment, a capability assessment, a counseling service and a career aptitude test.
 
BIPA also announced that it will offer the IRSHAD Program for development of occupational counseling services to the Supreme Council for Women, the Ministry of Labour & Social Development and TAMKEEN.
