Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on July 6.
“The wise leadership was aware to launch a number
initiatives and incentives which would facilitate running businesses and lower
costs incurred by business owners, and to utilize all the capabilities to
practice trade and investment activities in the emirate. This would bring more
revenues and achieve economic entrepreneurship which the emirate is striving to
realize within its strategy of economic development and sustainable economy,”
Al-Muhairi said.
“The orders of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al
Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed
Forces, to speed up the payment of entitlements on contracts with the suppliers
from the private sector came at the right time considering the need of
companies for the necessary cash to keep their businesses going in Abu Dhabi,
as well as to plan for growth and expansion with the support of our wise
leadership to have Emirati companies that can achieve entrepreneurship on the
regional and international levels,” he added.

Al-Muhairi praised the orders of his Highness Sheikh

opportunities by drafting partnership policies between the public and private
sectors and launching the first patch of projects to activate the cooperation
between the two sectors by the end of the current year. He pointed out that
both sectors complement each other with the sake of realizing the economic
goals with the Emirate of Abu Dhabi strive to achieve.
His Excellency Mohamed Helal Al-Muhairi, Director General
of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, praised the directions of
His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and the
orders of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu
Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, in launching a
stimulus pack of AED50 billion to speed up the economic development process of
Abu Dhabi over the coming three years. He explained that such a stimulus pack
would push for more economic and investment development in the emirate,
increase the trust of investors, businessmen and local, foreign and
international companies in the economy of the emirate which is expected to
witness an economic boom thanks to the stimulus pack and what follows of
decisions that would benefit the national economy.
