FREE UNIVERSITY OF BRUSSELS: CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19): information and safety measures

Free University of Brussels issued the following announcement on April 30.

Remote learning and teleworking are, therefore, to this day, the ground rule for the functioning of our University.

These measures come into force on March 18. They may, however, be updated depending on how the situation develops.

All members of the university community, students, staff members and visitors are invited to read and apply them. These measures, which include a reduction of on-campus activities, are intended to improve the protection of all students and staff members while ensuring that the University’s activities and services are not suspended.

As announced by the National Security Council last Friday, the deconfinement will begin in phases as of Monday, May 4.

We aim to maintain a delicate balance between resuming our activities and maintaining the measures intended to contribute to the fight against the epidemic.

Teleworking remains, until further notice, the rule within the University as in the rest of the country. This measure applies to all staff members and to the teaching and evaluation activities.
