Chinese trailer manufacturer to launch Bahrain facility

Chinese-based trailer manufacturer CIMC Vehicle Group will open a new facility in Bahrain to produce reefer trailers for export throughout the Middle East. Report cites job stability, higher wages for Saudi workers

In a time when the Saudi economy is struggling, there is some glimmer of light for Saudi workers, particularly native citizens. A study by the Korn Ferry Hay Group shows big increases across the board for salaries in some industries, such as high technology and transportation and logistics. UAE Ministry of Finance reviews federal bankruptcy law

The UAE Ministry of Finance (MoF) said it has reviewed the final draft of the federal bankruptcy law recently approved by the UAE Cabinet. The law creates the Committee of Financial Restructuring, which will oversee the procedures of financial restructuring that exist outside the scope of the court and the creation of an electronic record of individuals involved in bankruptcy rulings.
