U.S.-Gulf Cooperation Council Cyber Working Group launches at Dubai forum

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the American Business Council of Dubai and the Northern Emirates and Dubai Internet City to launch the U.S.–Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Cyber Working Group. Qatar Communications Regulatory Authority has responded to 85% of consumer complaints this year

The Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) of Qatar recently released a report that said it has resolved more than 85 percent of the 877 complaints received against the country’s two telecom service providers from January to August. CRA’s Consumer Affairs Department works hand in hand with Ooredoo and Vodafone-Qatar on these issues and is working to resolve the remaining complaints. Read More »
